Hi!
So, I’ve been wanting to make a crafting blog for a while, but I just haven’t had the motivation to do it at first. Now, with me starting to get more and more into crafting of all sorts, I figured it was high time for me to get off my butt and make one.
So hi!
My name’s Lexi, I’m 22 and I just recently started crafting, nearly a month ago. Right now, all I do is Crochet and write (if that counts), but I’m starting to become fascinated with more and more types of crafts the more I look online. I first started Crocheting, thanks to my friend Wynn (who runs her own Biweekly challenge blog here.) She does a number of crafts, including embroidery, Crocheting, Sewing, Jewelry making, photography and maybe a few more that I forgot to mention. I asked her about Crocheting, she told me to get into it and it really all goes from there.
This blog is going to serve a few purposes. One of them is to keep track of my projects and how long it takes me to get them done. Another one is to basically show off my work to the world, because what fun is it to make something if you can’t show it off? Another reason is to motivate myself. I work full time in retail and I also go to school. At the moment, it’s only one class, but combined with work, My life can drain me pretty fast. This blog is sort of a way to help motivate myself to craft, because it’s really the only thing I find relaxing nowadays.
I have previous projects I’ve already completed, including one I finished today. I’ll post those within the next day or so, and also post when I finally have a new project to do.
